The prototype axles were installed in the car yesterday and the tech reported that there were no issues. A short test drive by the shop also came back with no issues. The car will now undergo several other unrelated treatments in preparation for the true test of these axles durability.
    Stay tuned!

As soon as we have some solid feedback on these from the tester, we can make them for sale (we still have a few sets from the initial test batch)

Quick update... Had a brief shakedown run at Saratoga Speedway today and there were absolutely ZERO issues with the axles. Power went to the wheels like nobody's business! Had a wee issue with braking however but managed to get out of it unscathed! Next stop: KNOX MOUNTAIN!

The AXLES ROCK!!! Three complete runs were accomplished with ZERO issues. Then on my fourth run I had a very hard hit with the outside concrete barrier! Good news is I didn't go over it because it would have been a very unpleasant ride down the mountainside. Bad news is the car will not be competing in day two. I was transported to Kelowna General Emergency and after much poking and prodding and several X-rays they sent me packing. It's gonna be a very uncomfortable several days at least for me. I have yet to see the condition of the car, but I'm confident that the one straight part left on the passenger side anyway will be the axle!
