Weird Noise Coming from the little ribbon that pushes on to the Slave Cylinder

Guys,

My P5 is doing like a chirping noise and it is coming from the little ribbon that pushes on the Slave Cylinder. Once I touch the ribbon it stops. I also noticed that the clutch pedal is kind of soft. It has been like this ever since the clutch was replaced. As I am driving the car sounds like I have a bird in the engine bay. Anyone has some feedback on what could be done to get rid of the bird in my engine bay?

I had the same noise a few months ago. I thought it was the belts to begin with since it was a rhythmic squeak that I could hear at idle.

Turned out it was the slave cylinder/clutch area. When the clutch pedal was depressed, the sound would go away. And I could replicate the noise by jiggling the brackets going into the clutch fork. I greased some metal-on-metal contact points hoping it would go away. I don't think it did the trick (at least immediately) because I would still hear it. Brought it into the shop for further investigation a couple days after...letting them know where it was coming from. They couldn't hear it even if they tried to replicate it by jiggling the contact points. Classic scenario of not being able to replicate problems once it's been brought to the shop! That was back in late March/early April. Haven't heard the sound since. I don't how it disappeared but it did.

Sorry there wasn't much help offered, but I was trying to accurately give you my account of the same sound. If you can somehow manage to get grease to the contact points, that should do the trick. Maybe somehow the grease I put eventually worked it's way throughout the contact points. The TSB below might be of assistance as well - it's what I was going to try next if the sound persisted:
