Bluetooth Song display is stuck

I own a 2015 CX5 and able to pair with Samsung Galaxy S3.

When the app "google play" plays the next song through bluetooth, the display shows the title of the song for a few songs and then the display shows an much earlier song. However, the "next song" continues to play only the display of the song is out of sync.

Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Which version of android is it? (Look in Settings, then About) If earlier than 4.3, this feature won't work well. Usually Google Play Music functions correctly for me though, so I'm not sure.

You could also try PowerAmp, which has a few metadata settings. "Metachanged intent" I think it is.

Sometimes a factory reset helps. Last resort though.

Thanks for the reply. Mine is Android 4.3.

I think somehow it does not remember the last played song, but it does remember the very very first song it played. Weird.

Will give poweramp a try!
