Roof Molding installation

Hey everyone,

I just got my roof molding pieces in from onlinemazdaparts to fill the gap left over from the roof rack! Unfortunately I have no clue how to install it. I literally just popped it in and the rubber border acted like a suction cup and its not going anywhere. To fill the holes leftover from the roof rack I used nuts and sealer washers, so are the clips even needed? This is how it looks.

This is how it looks when the molds are installed.

Just a reminder that the molds are very sturdy in there and do not feel like they're going anywhere. If the bolts will suffice I will keep it that way, but if I need the clips I will obviously install the clips. Insight?

Yes u need clips like the ones u have there now to cover the holes and it clips on the molding so they don't flap up or down. Just did this to mine on Sunday.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I plugged the holes with some hardware and rubber washers because it looked like the clips go where the roof 'bumps' up a little. I should be fine, yeah?
