Bikingpro5's build 2

the fans clear the SC and header without issues on the back of the rad. Since i installed the rad the temps have been much better then with the OE crap and i bet those 2 fans came on last year about 6 times over the 35K miles i drove the car. I might build a shroud and attached the fans to the shroud and have them mounted as pull fans if i notice any changes in temp.

I was just pointing out that generally cooling fans work more efficiently as pullers than pushers since the latter actually block portions of the radiator. Pullers are even better shrouded. It's not like the FSDE gets particularly hot anyway. I had two unshrouded 12 in. SPAL puller fans on my Corksport radiator it it usually took something like 15 minutes of idling to kick the fans on. I remember thinking for the longest time I had wired them incorrectly.

that's exactly what i thought when i first installed them since they never came on. I'm aware they are less efficient running this way as well but for that 15-20% I'm alright with the trade off for a bit of a cleaner engine bay IMO.

I've always loved the idea of a supercharged Protege. Keep up the good work mate

well cars sitting on 4 wheels again while i wait for my tires to show up for my RPFs

while it was on the ground i decided to hook up some speakers for the first time in about 3 years, so now ill have something other than road noise to listen to while driving.

tucking 18s, just need to adjust my new laterals and coils once i get the 17s installed as these wheels are sold

Very beautiful work BP5. I hope I can make my car as nice as yours :). Sub

Those wheels look sooooo much better than the 18" boat anchors! I'm looking forward to some sunshine shots in the spring! (If you guys will see spring in Canada...)

haha ya, its spring right now but you'd never know with the next storm coming this week which could drop 3ft of snow on us. I might just pull it out onto the street and snap a few pics to see how it sits before i say that the height, camber is proper.

spent some time in the garage this weekend that was not wasted on shoveling. Reinstalled the hood and headlights, plus removed my midpipe so that i can have one made to replace it.

so much easier to just tape off the trim instead of cleaning it, IMO tape takes less time

Thos RPF1's look so good on your car...

And masking tape is for noobs. - MP5t

ya well myself and most other detailers that can do anything must be wrong for not wanting to clean black trim, besides the MP5T does not have wax on it added weight.

and ya the RPFs really do fit the car nicely.
