so since i moved into a new place this fall which had my own garage many changes are going to happen over the winter.

first was a set of 17" RPFs that i bought from Evan

IMG-20131123-00284_zps94bbeb51.jpg

had them refinished in bronze to match the rest of my powder

next big change was a set of lateral arms made by Nate at Jay Racing. It feels great to know that this is one of a very limited run that he made (1 of 2)

beautiful SS bushings

then instead of that stupid long bolt that is impossible to remove after a few years, he machined 2 long bolts so that we could use nuts on each end

while the subframe was out i had it coated in wrinkle black, installing the bushings and heims
IMG-20140225-00674_zpse6e09a95.jpg

was at this point I learned that i had installed the wrong bushings. 12mm and 14mm so we had to remove all 4 heims and bushings and replace them with proper ones
IMG-20140225-00676_zpsec90e9f3.jpg

the long bolt did not fit the bushings is how we learned I had 2 separate sized bushings and i had grabbed the wrongs ones first

so yesterday after bolting up the rear suspension i decided to see if i could spin the car around so i could work on the front suspension and not be near the cold garage door.

IMG-20140301-00705_zps042cdbdd.jpg

once spun around i lifted the car again on the stands to remove the front suspension parts for cleaning/powder

Ooh this makes me so excited to finally have a garage in August! I hate having just a parking lot and walking up and down stairs with all my parts and tools.

So what company is it then ? T1r?

Deka makes the Braille batteries this one is the 11lb version

ya we moved end of September and its great being able to go wrench when i feel like it, but i still walked up and down the stairs for all of my parts and most of the tools until i started to leave things in the garage. Until i have my cabinets installed and finished in the garage most of my tools will stay in the house out of the cold.

thanks, the OE laser blue is a bit lighter then what i had the car resprayed.

So 2 years of DD means for some dirty coilovers when it came time to taking them apart for cleaning and making sure everything was good for the next little while

everything came apart easily minus the lower mount which took some time to soak and needed a bit of help to knock the dirt out of the threads

how it sat while the lower mount was filled with PB blaster

Do you have to have the fans setup as pushers to clear the supercharger? I know you don't track the car but it's unfortunate to have that much obstruction in front of the radiator.

The coilovers sure cleaned up though! Makes me think I should do the same.

the fans clear the SC and header without issues on the back of the rad. Since i installed the rad the temps have been much better then with the OE crap and i bet those 2 fans came on last year about 6 times over the 35K miles i drove the car. I might build a shroud and attached the fans to the shroud and have them mounted as pull fans if i notice any changes in temp.
