How do I remove the shiny plastic piece that spans the front of the car above the badge and beneath the lip of the hood? Shown here:

It seems to be part KD4950711, upper grille moulding, but I couldn't find anything about it in the service manual. I previously plasti-dipped the front but removed it recently when I accidentally ripped it. Unfortunately I couldn't get it all off and want to remove this part to clean the rest.

Thanks.

I printed out a page from an online parts catalog before removing mine to wrap it so I knew where all the screws were. It's a PIA and you'll leave some skin behind.
The header bar with the hood latch needs to come out, that will require a bunch of assorted tools, a short Phillips and you'll need to drill out some pop rivets, there were I believe 3 screws into the back of the shiny piece, then it pops out.
If you were thinking about upgrading the horn or adding a bug screen this is the time to do it!
