iPhone iOS7 navigation connectivity issue...

So it seems ever since I updated to iOS7 I no longer can get voice navigational directions through the speakers except when I have it in AUX/USB mode listening to iPod.
It used to work regardless of mode, i.e I could get voice commands even when listening to the radio, sat, or CD, but no longer. It's the same regardless of using Bluetooth or the USB connection.
Bluetooth telephone and Siri works in all modes though.

Anyone else had this issue? Is it an iphone issue or the car?
I tried unpairing and that didn't change anything

ios704 here, and it works both in Google Maps and Maps via BT. Though both are stupidly annoying since the switchover is so slow.

Do you mean slow when it does that beep?
Mine was doing that before, but now it stopped beeping and transitions really quick, it's great, but it only works in Aux/USB mode which makes it useless unless I am listening to music through my phone
