Performance upgrade for the brakes?

I would like to shorten the stopping distance. Anyone knows where to get bigger rotors and calipers for the front?

Shorten distance you would want to get better tires. bigger rotors will only keep your braking consistant after multiple uses.

yup, start with stickier and/or bigger tires.

This would be your best all-season. I will buy them when I get mine down to 4/32"

if you do want to upgrade brakes i think brembo has a kit in the works

Higher brake torque just makes the ABS come on quicker. You can play with pad compound between front and rear to try to play with the brake bias before the ABS comes on but requires a lot of trial and error.

If you want to stop faster, low hanging fruit is softer tires.

I am looking for a set of drilled/slotted rotors for the front. 23k miles and my rotors already need turned.

Drilled rotors won't be an upgrade.

Yes, I just checked with Auto Anything and they sell the Brembo kit, but for about 3.2K! Have to think twice to pull the trigger. May need spacers too and that's another 2 bills.

Brake World sells several brands of drilled/slotted rotors for our car.

tires and brake pads.

not sure how many aftermartket brands have pads out yet, but EBC has a green, red, yellow.
