Where is the FCC ID in the keyfob?

I lost my key fob and remote start fob in the snow today. I am looking on ebay and found both. The remote start fob has the fcc id on it, no problems...but where the HECK is the FCC ID on the key fob? I have my spare and cant find it anywhere. On the mother board?? Dont see it anywhere. What format is it in?

B. No matter what you do, you still have to take it to the dealer and have them programmed.

yah, i found it. I was able to get a new fob and blank blade cut took it to a key place who programed the transponder for 45, the dealer wanted 100. Dealer wanted 325 total for a new key. I got away with buying all on ebay and key replacement programming for about 75!

I'm in the same boat, sort of.

Just got the car, and one of the two FOBS does not work, so I asked the dealership to program it and they said 75 bucks. But the mechanic is cool, seeing if they can waive the cost since I just got the car.

Good tip on the ebay, they are cheaper than the dealership and same quality from what I can see.
