How many fuel filters?

How many fuel filters are on the 2.0? I know theres one in the engine, but last night I was looking under the rear of the car and saw a fuel filter looking thing on the drivers side near the rear bumper. Is that a fuel filter too?

I think it just has the one in the tank. Im not sure what that is under the car; Ive seen it too. Subscribing

The box under the spare tire area is for your evap emissions so fuel vapors do not enter the atmosphere.

Agree with JohnH. Its called the carbon canister.

The only "filter" on our car is that tiny fabric streaner at the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank... And I also think there's a filter element inside the plastic fuel pump housing. I should cut an old one open to verify that.

Yep only one filter 'sock' on the pump, no fuel filter in the engine bay or in the evap system.
