2013 Mazda3 i Touring Automatic Transmission Problems

Hey everyone, looking around to see if anyone has had similar issues with their Mazda3. I have a 2013 Mazda3 i Touring AT with less than 2000 miles on it. I have noticed that the transmission slips. For example, when I back out of a parking spot and put it into drive, it will often rev like it was in neutral before dropping into drive. Also, I was sitting at a stoplight and felt what seemed like the transmission dropping out and then back into gear. Any ideas?

Has anyone had any similar problems?

I notice mine hesitates when cold. After I make a turn and press on the gas pedal not much happens unless I floor it, which I don't want to do in a new car. According to the guys in another forum this is normal for the 3. It sounds kind of like your issue, unless it happens to you after it is warmed up.
I would mention it to the dealer but all I've ever gotten out of the 2 I went to is that everything is normal.
