I am in the market for my first car (wahoo) and to be honest I know next to nothing about cars. I'm really interested in Hatchbacks because they suit my lifestyle but I've found them really hard to come by. I'm in NS canada and either the car is out of my price range (hoping to spend between 5-6k) or the km's are through the roof. I have found one however but I'm not sure it'd be worth it after I get it fixed up.
It's a automatic 2004 Mazda3 with 155000 kms on it and the guy is asking 2400 for it. Only problem is it needs an Oxygen sensor and front break pads and rotors. Does anyone have a ballpark of what all this could cost? Would it even be possible for me to come out under the 5grand mark? (huh)
