This morning my remote start stopped working randomly. It's not in valet mode or hood up etc. What happens is when I go to start it, I get 1 beep, and then a few seconds later I get the second beep like I am supposed to. The running lights come on, and there is power to the cabin. However, when I open the door there is a steady buzzing tone, and then when I put the key in and hit the brake to attempt to start the vehicle the security light flashes quickly. If I then take the key out and put it back in the car will start normally.
If I had to guess, some kind of relay that tells the started to fire over is shot, because it seems like the car is trying to remote start, it's just not cranking. Please help if you can. Thanks!
