It worked great! The car was almost entirely pink after about 10 minutes...lol. So I did a second pass just to make sure I got it all - and it came up almost completely clean. Rinsed away easily as well. Smells like grim death, though...I mean it smells BAD.

About time I should clay my CX-5. No garage (live in NYC), never been clayed, and a late 2013 production. Probably going to try IronX too. Tried it on my friend's Supra MKIV, but not very effective on a pristine garaged surface that was clayed a few months ago.

Glad to see someone properly taking care of their CX-5! Looks amazing as expected.

Thanks for the kind words. If it sits outside all of the time and you're worried about contamination like that, have you looked into coatings like Opti-Coat or Cquartz? They're incredible products and you don't have to worry about dirt, contamination, or even waxing/sealing for a very long time. It's definitely worth the money and there are a few authorized installers in your area.

I have read about Opti-Coat and cquarts over at autopia. I am a believer even though I do not have experience with it. I might invest in cquarts next Spring, but I have too many sealants and waxes now to add to the collection LOL.
