voice command debacle

Do folks here have a problem with 6's voice recognition software? It never seems to recognize voice commands properly. Everytime I try to call someone by name it thinks I want to dial a number. Never had this issue with my old MS3 speed granted the voice recognition only worked for phone commands. Thanks.

i went for a ride in a coworkers 2013 cx-5 and was laughing so hard at her failing to get voice commands to work properly. 3 months later i get a 2014 6 and cant get it to work well for me either... i dont think you're alone.

I've been posting this everywhere it relates, but I've started a petition with the Mazda 6 forums & CX-5 forums that mentions this as one of the key issues with our head units/nav systems!

Coming out of a '12 MZ5 with decent voice recognition I'm not happy with the way the 6 is set up.
