rattles and buzzes from the lower plastic cover of the steering column

hi,

annoying ! when driving on bad asphalt.. you hear an annoying rattle coming from the lower plastic cover of the steering column. applying little pressure with my hand stops it ..

i want to take it off and treat it. i reckon it is not too complicated, yet i dont want to break anything in the process..

anyone done it ?

hi,

i DID IT !! i fixed it !

opened the top and bottom steering column covers and followed the procedure attached. so far so good !

have started experiencing these rattles also from my mazda 6 2008 with EPS? aaah I hate this

Aren't there screws from the lower cover into the upper cover which hold the assembly together?

Not as per answer #2, unfortunately. Seems there are 4 clips only.
