Bluetooth headunit upgrade

New CX-5 owner here.
The dealer I went to had no sport auto models with the basic radio.
I had to get one with the bluetooth audio.
I will be replacing the headunit with something aftermarket and was wondering if anyone knows what will happen to the system settings, such as lights dimming, triple blink signal, and such.
Will they settings stay in the last state or will they go to defaults?

It'll stay with the last settings. Then if you want to change the settings (light dimming, turn signals, door locks, etc) You have to go to the dealer and they can do it with their computer. No idea if that's free or not, but definitely a huge hassle.

Thanks! If I really needed to change something, I'll probably just plug up the OEM unit to make the changes.
I don't see any of them being a frequent change after I have it setup to my liking.

I sure will. I am planning on replacing the front and rear speakers, the head unit, and building a fiberglass sub enclosure to fit behind one of the rear fender panels in the back. This should happen over the next few months.

There is a touchscreen headunit with all these settings available...android based with capacitive screen multitouch...
