2012 tail lights -> 2013 tail lights? Will it work?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post I've ever posted onto any forum so I hope I'm doing it correctly.

I was in Toronto, working, and on the highway back home i believe i saw a 2013 Mazda3 Skyactiv. The tail lights (brake lights) were circle LED's and on the reverse lights there was the button which I think opens the trunk. I've always liked the way the LED looks compared to the normal halogen bulb, so I was asking myself if I were to buy 2013 Brake lights, would it fit my 2012? I was wondering if I could get pointed into the right direction to find some LED tail lights for my car.

If anybody can help me with this then I would appreciate it.

Seems like a 2013 GS-Sky with Touring Package. It'll probably fit but the button will be non functional.
