Going to try this soon, hated the thought of no heated mirrors and was happy to see this thread. For the record, the part numbers for the heated mirrors w/o blind spot monitoring are:

Right KD37-69-1G1B
Left KD37-69-1G7B

The prices are actually pretty cheap, It was about $43 for the pair when I checked.

Good news for anyone who has tried to follow this thread, after 7 years or so I'm finally getting the images to work again! Of course, this is for my own selfish reasons as I have just purchased a 2018 CX-5 and I'm hoping to follow my own install.

I am going to try this on a 2021 CX-5 in about 2 weeks. Waiting on the OEM Heated glass before tearing the door down. I’ll post a follow up on how it goes.
