this is off topic but my friend saw my work on my cx9 and he wanted me to do his rims for him. so i did and they came out NICE looking like a LEXUS.
i basically masked off the car with plastic so it was fast. cut some contractor bags into 2 and rolled it behind the wheel to cover the rotors and caliper. taped off lugnuts, wiped wheel clean and sprayed away. light coats equal better results! total 5 coats evenly. went through 3 cans.

closeup got a little spray on rotor but rubbed it off no problem

guess im doing my stock 20s in a couple days =D

where can you buy plastidip. how long for it to dry up? Did you spray the inside part of the wheels too? BTW it looks nice !

I like the grill work more than the wheels. Been thinking about using a black anodized look paint on the grills...
 
Did you take the grill and fog surronds out to paint them?

If so, is it pretty easy?
