Coverking Leatherette Seat Cover

I ordered a set of Coverking leatherette seat cover (black, 1 tone finish) from autoanything.com for my 2014 Touring. Paid $424 after discount. Took me 3 hrs to install w/o taking out the seats. I think the seat cover will be hotter then the OEM cloth seats, but I want a look that is very close to the dash, and a surface that is easy to wipe and clean.

The petruding lower corners of the driver and front passenger seats do not fit perfectly. But this is a small matter to me considering the price.

Coverking website has videos to demo the installation (neoprene material). It happens to use CX-5 as the demo vehicle. This is what that gave me the confidence to purchase.

Nice job, personally it looks a little to plain, regardless, great job on the installation.

So what is "leatherette"; is that like "naugahide"? How come the front corners fit so much better in the installation video?

leatherette == artificial leather == vinyl
Installation video shows neoprene cover which is similar to bodygrove that can be stretched. That's why (I think) it fits better.
You can request for free swatch from Coverking website

Where did you get it from for $424? That's a good deal for the front and back. Does your set come with the piece to the replace the fabric on the side panel on the door? Have u consider getting the medium gray with black side set? I am curious how it looks on the CX-5.

I bought from autoanything.com. It gives 15% discount plus free shipping for new member. I did consider black with charcoal, but there is nothing in the OEM that has charcoal color, so I opted for fully black. It doesn't come with the door panel - I wish it has. The cloth door panel gets dirty and collects dust easily, and my solution for now is to use Scotchgard Auto Fabric Protector.

Once you have installed, snap a photo and post in coverking's Facebook page. They'll send you a bottle of leatherette conditioner free. Mine arrives today in the mail.
