I guess it would be proper for me to put my first post here then I can start picking brains. 2003 P5. Bought it with 90k on it for $200.00 yes you read that right $200.00. It has been having some problems but the engine runs good and the car is pretty solid.

200 bucks? What a bargin! What kind of engine problems/cel?

Electrical charging problems. Replaced the battery then the alternator and now it is over charging. Before it was draining the battery.

I'm not sure but I have been told that the ECU regulates the voltage. Maybe the ECU is bad? I am just spit ballin here so don't run out for a new ECU, lol. You could also check the ground wires. Take them loose and clean them up real good. That should help.
