Sway Bar

I have a rear 22 mm Progress Sway Bar that I am planning to install tomorrow with some new stuts and endlinks. Anyways I was reading somewhere that it is necessary to have some sort of mounting bracket between the sway bar and the end link? Is this true, because when I look under the car it looks like the stock endlinks just connect straight to the stock sway bar with just the nut. Also is the hump in the middle of the progress bar supposed to point upwards or downwards when installed? Sorry I just want to make sure I dont have to do it more than once. Thanks.

How much did the Progress sway bar set you back? Where'd you get it? Looking at maybe getting it as well in the near future

It points up and uses the same mounting bracket holes, just bigger brackets for the bigger bar. Mine is hooked up to oem endlinks and has been ever since it went on the car. Hell, the oem endlinks are still the ones that came new on the car 10 yrs ago. No issues with any of it.
