What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Here. The mesh and the car desperately need wash, but it's too hot, and the beer is too cold...

Pulled the bad Amazon bumper cover off. I knew it was collecting water and dirt under it. Cleaned off the double sided tape. Looks new again. Do not buy this pos.

What does it matter what’s going on underneath if it’s doing its job? Looks like an attractive, well-designed piece and it gets great reviews on Amazon. I’ve always thought Mazda was remiss in not installing something like this at the factory.

I honestly never loved it. I hate the chrome piece on the edge of it. Which by the way, does scratch to s***.
Maybe it doesn't matter to most, but I don't like the thought of water and dirt piling up underneath that thing and onto my paint. It was CONSIDERABLY worse looking then I expected.

That's a shame. That back area where that would sit is definitely scratched up on mine from loading stuff in and and out.

But I hate chrome too. :)

Ok mine got a clear foil original from Mazda for the rear bumper stock when I bought it-I had to replace the rear bumper once and they put the foil on again on the bill of the other guys ensurance. You not see the foil in the first hand cause it's very understatement, you see your cars color and it is doing its job to protect the paint.

Changed this ugly cabin air filter behind the glove box with the annual service. Wonder if they do it every year or every two years-I will do myself now every half a year for sure-it's two minutes work very easy and they have a decent price so why not

If you're calling that dark stuff ugliness, it ain't. Your filter is carbon- impregnated to help fight odors...

Some are and some are not. I use a WIX / NAPA cabin filter that is not. Wix / NAPA also have one that has Carbon.
