Unknown Fluid Leak?

So I have noticed this puddle of fluid on top of the transmission in my P5. As far as I can tell it has not dripped down from above, but has seeped from below. I have some pictures which show exactly what I am talking about.

Here you can see a little puddle of fluid.

This one is a little further out just to show it in perspective of the rest of the engine bay.

I took a paper towel to absorb some of the fluid, and it looks to be colored like motor oil. This is where I become confused.

Remove your intake and examine your valve cover gasket for any leaks

it is not uncommon for oil to be there...check your breather hose and as stated valve cover.

While glancing at it I don't see any oil coming down the side of the block from the valve cover forming the puddle. I will definitely take a better look after I take the intake off. I'll probably clean the air flow sensor while it's off.

Also, this car is really my learning experience when it comes to working on cars. Where do I find the breather hose?

it is a hose that attaches from the intake to the side of the valve cover.

Check abs pump mines is leaking and I have to replace it but don't have the time to right now... I had the same situation so check the abs pump under the battery near the firewall
