Once the car cranks over it goes straight to redline. Any advice on how to fix it or what could be wrong ?

What did you do or change on it? Did you change the throttle position?

Just hooked everything up. Haven't adjusted anything yet. It's a Japanese motor and the throttle body is about 1/3 of the way open. I'm not sure how to adjust the throttle body but I'm pretty sure that's my problem

Turned put to be my throttle cable is to long. So my new question is there anyway to lengthen the throttle cable ? Maybe it has some slack adjustment ?

Yea. It might be the throttle body on the new motor but it seems like it needs to be longer by an inch
