Weird noise when acceleration

Hi,

First of all my first language is french so i'am sorry in advance for some error that i can make.

I got a Cx5 since 4 months now.

But since it's became very cold in Montral i hear a sound in front of the car only when i accelerate.

It's like a triiiiiii and it never stop only if i put my foot out of the gaz pedal.

It's very disappointing i know that the noise come from the motor but i don't know if it's norma or not..

So this is a normal noise?

Do you think that they can do some thing for this it's very annoying when i'm not listening music.

It's a loud sound.

Just when my foot is on the accelerating pedal...

...the mechanic told me it's "normal". Had I known, I would never had bought this otherwise fine automobile. But that noise can drive you mental, and it does seem to be worse when the car is cold... so I've not yet had it in winter and I'm not looking forward to that.

A bran new car should not have this issue to transcend. If I bought a used car, I could accept this. But this is frustrating... Will have to learn to love the sound. Haha.
