I have just finished my front rotor and brake pad replacement yesterday. Dirty long job btw....
No more shaking when braking and overall I'm happy with the results. I have damaged the drivers side rotor backing plate. It is a 3/4 circle shape held in by 3 screws. One screw rusted and broke, the other was permanently rounded and one came off correctly. I ended up removing it but want to find the replacement part. I have looked all over the internet and was hoping that someone out there may know where to find them, besides dealer, and hopefully at a good price. I may have to look at a junk yard but removing yet another set of rusted on rotors to get them is less than appealing.
