aftermarket car stereo picks (not pics)

We're talking about double din though. When I had a single din, I was using an MSP pocket that was awesome. I haven't found a good double din kit yet though

Damn, where did my reading comprehension go...I've misplaced it again. Sorry about that and can't help you there....my best guesses would be Metra or Scosche but guessing those are the ones you are talking about.
 
I'm using a JVC KW-R900BT and I'm quite happy with it. No problems/issues yet. It's been almost six months.

JVC KW-R900BT is their highest-end dual-din with a multiline display. I love the huge volume knob. I have plenty of beef with it, but this is the least beef I've had with an aftermarket head unit so far (I hate 'em all).

You don't need a dash kit. The stock HU is double-din. Just put in the cage that the HU comes with and stick the HU in there. Here's mine:

I bought the car last year and it had an aftermarket stereo in it so I don't have the stock hu dash kit and I like the look of ^^this guys double din
