You may be stuck going to a dealership. I remember reading this before (its been years though), but it was something to do with the alarm systems being different because of the completely different audio systems...
If you bought the MP3 new, hopefully you still have that little yellow card and stamped metal thing that has your key information. If you already have the little remote, its cheap and they'll do it right there at the dealership.
