(lol2) Just wanted to Introduce my self.

As of 2 weeks ago, I own a 2012 Mazda5 Touring. And I must say I'm very pleased with the way the vehicle is performing so far.
According to Autobarn Mazda in Evanston (where I got it from), it was a Mazda Corp. vehicle in Detroit. For the first leg of it's life.
I got it with 1400mi. Certified 7yrs/100,000mi, 6disc in dash, moon roof, DVD entertainment System, White Pearl paint, Compass/anti glare mirror, Cargo Cover, and Cargo Net.
For $18.995 before Taxes and fees. (headbang)

Here are some pics. (Sorry for them being crappy cell phone ones) :)

Thanks, :) I saw 1 a week ago on my way to work with a temp.plate.
I will take some more nicer shots next week, as soon as I come back from Rally America's event in Houghton,MI late Sunday.

Cheers.

I was just telling another forum member that the other day, seems to be a rare color out here, too. My wife likes her Clearwater Blue Mica but there were no white ones available at the time so who knows what she would have picked if the option were there?

Looks great to me.

That's odd, it seems that up here in Toronto, white is the most common colour. When I bought mine, clearwater blue was the colour that was hard to find, but luckily I managed to snag one (in manual, which was especially hard to locate). My in-laws had no trouble getting a white one in stock, there were several to choose from in fact.

Oh, and congrats on the new car! It does look great in white, I sometimes wonder if I should have gotten white myself!

Thanks guys, I was originally looking for a Brand Spanking new one. And I couldn't decide between the clear water blue and the Silver/Gray color. But Friday night I opened up Cars.com before I went to bed and this One was just posted with (All of it's) 1,400Mi. LOL. And all the Extras. So I told my self "I have to look at it At least". And I ended up not looking @ it for too long. :D .

And here are the extra Pics that I took today (with my cell phone again (bang) ) None the the less, that White Pearl really grows on me.

Looks great. Funny about Clearwater Blue being rare up there, the dealer we got ours from looked to have only that color, five of them all lined up (one ended up being silver).

Another great looking 5. Congrats!

There was a White and a Dark Grey GT and the Red Copper Mica GS (which I chose) as i've always had a silver or neutral colored car and thought it was time for a change. I haven't seen a Red Mica 5 yet in this part of the world. Black rims are going to set this one off next Spring 8)

That's a fantastic deal, my favorite color also. I would have bought a white one also if the dealer had it but settled with Clear Water Blue instead, and I like that color also.

But, I drive the Speed3 in Clear White Pearl so that sort of evens out things a bit. I am curious as to what type of DVD unit they put in, and how's the audio hooked up to the factory stereo.

Never noticed this before, does anyone else with a Touring have a badge on the hatch?

I was wondering how long it would take some one to notice that. (lol2)

That badge is actually an OEM item from a Toyota Avalon that I purchased online.
I also fitted the 5 with a set of 5000K H.I.D. already= Not a whole lot brighter IMO, but looks a thousand times better. (cheers)

Window 'r getting tinted 35% on Black Friday. Pics to follow.(friday)

Should go darker in the rear windows starting from middle row back to something like 5% VLT -- 35% for the driver's side and front passenger side IMHO would look good and keep the passengers cool in the summer heat.

Agreed, however (five-0) here are a Pain in the A#@ and I won't be the Only driver (my wife and mother will drive the 5 too occasionally) and I want to save them the Hassle.

Got it, but 35% VLT seems like nothing, why not just match the darkness of the ones that are used from the factory like SUV's and Minivans in that case?

I'll see what I'm gonna do when I get there and talk to the tinter. I want to hear his suggestion too. ;)

Make sure your tint person does the rear sliding door quarter windows all the way to the edge of the glass, and not to the edge of the gasket. We did 35% front+hatch, and 20% on the rest. If I could do it again, the rear side windows would be 10 or 5%.

I have first hand experience with this. They need to slide the tint film underneath the gasket, not to the edge, especially the area that curved on the bottom/rear facing section. Tecnique is to push the glass outward as you slide the film underneath the gasket.
