Having one car was not working for my wife and I anymore, so it was time to say goodbye to an old friend that was an excellent only car.

Hello 2012 Mazda 3 GS-L Skyactiv 6MT sedan and 1994 Mazda MPV 2WD 4AT!

I like driving them both, the 3 is fantastic, fun, and awesome on gas, the MPV uses twice as much gas as the 3 but I also like driving it. I actually got the MPV first and wanted to keep the 5, but after taking the 3 on an extended test drive, I fell in love. 0% financing helped to sway my decision.

Delivery day, goodbye to my Mazda 5, it's served me very well.

Nice car. Good luck. If only the Mz5 had one of the sky series motors/trans. However, I do have reservations on how well this line of engines will endure given Mazda quality and having 14:1 compression on regular gas. I just hope Mazda isn't really trying to be like the Germans where they are great for the first few years and have to plan for maintenance thereafter. Luckily I'm not an early adopter so I'll wait and see :D

Thanks. :) The Mazda 3 only has a 12:1 compression ratio since it doesn't have the 4-2-1 header and runs on regular gas. The CX-5 has a 13:1 compression ratio since it has the 4-2-1 header but still only runs on regular gas. Most of the rest of the world gets 14:1 on any new full Skyactiv platform cars.

I did get bumper to bumper 6 year/160k km warranty just in case.
