There are a few minor flaws, but over all I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Just need to cut out the other holes, wet sand the suface, and polish it all up :)

not bad, better than anything I could do

Thanks guys. I started working with the mold the other night and when preping it one way made it sound like I had to wipe it first with the PVA then wax the s*** out of it. That is the way I did it the first time. Then I was reading further on it about the wax and it said to use it as a presurfacer for the PVA. They need to learn how to write direction. I'm going to try it this way this time and see if it comes out any better since it would be making a film over the wax. Hopefully I'll have som time later tonight after work to make a little more progress.

Yeeeaaaah, I'm gonna go ahead and put this pic on this page as well. For the awesomeness. Mkaaayyy? Greeeeaaat. Looks awesome, Corey!

Tomorrow I'll be wet sanding the interior peices for their final coat of clear resin and hopefully the last layer of fiberglass on the inner ledge of the fender mold. If this mold doesn't turn out I'm going to have modify the fender for layout reasons. The protege fonder have to many wierd lips and harsh angles that aren't needed for a carbon fiber layout of these fenders. Only time will tell.

That looks awesome! I'm going to have to pick your brain when it comes time to make my fan shroud. I'm leaning toward fiberglass but I really don't know where to start.

The nice thing about fiberglass is if you screw up you can sand it downand do it over. If you mess up cf you're probably going to have to paint it.

I thought about it too but there are those cold mornings when you need the defroster on the windshield. Unless you mean just the A/C components, then yes, delete that useless crap. Why? BRC.

I don't have any of the A/C components cept the controls and the heater system.
