Turn off engine w/o turning off power (acc)?

Is this possible or do I have to always push the start button twice immediately after I shut the engine down?

Took me a while to figure this out. The way to do it is to put the car in neutral then push the start button once. This will shut off the engine, but leave music/nav/etc running. You can put it in park afterwards, just don't forget to do so, LOL.

This trick does not seem to work for the 6-speed-MT. I'll keep trying other things...

Not that I am actually recommending this, but I bet you can keep the acc mode on by taking your foot off the clutch and "killing" the car (Like we all did when we first started larning how to drive a stick).
