Anyone ever notice a light rattle from the engine when put in park?

I've only had my cx-5 for 1 week and just today I heard a slight rattling noise from the engine as I was parking in my driveway.
I believe I read something similar on this forum a few days ago but I could be mistaken.

Also has anyone noticed how 'rough' the engine start is?

I've had my car for about 2 weeks now and have not experienced any odd noises from the engine. It's been very quiet and smooth (when up to temperature). The engine is noisy on start up which is normal but not rough.

I agree with rmac.

Direct injection noise can be heard from outside (might be what OP is hearing)

The unique and loud cold start noise for up to 30 seconds is normal and is another subject well covered in other threads.

Been driving my CX-5 for close to 3 weeks now. I have recently noticed a rattle. But only when I was on the break in Drive. I tried turning on and off my A/C and the rattle would start and stop with it.
Now...how do I keep the side mirrors from vibrating as I drive along the highway???
