Black emblems, looking for suggestion

So, I am getting ready to paint the front and rear emblems (at least the ones I can't take off completely b/c of holes) on my Black mica '07 3, and want to get some general opinions.

My original thought was to paint em flat black and then do a top coat of clear. I was going to do a top clear coat. I was thinking a matte or satin type finish, but a friend thought that it might look good with a glossy clear on top of the flat.

Any thoughts here? Open to suggestions...

Glossy clear over flat black will just make it glossy black...if you want flat black then do satin/matte clear coat but if you want that look you might be better off doing it with plastidip. Easily removeable if you change your mind.

Plasti Dip. It's easy, no removal of emblems necessary, comes off later if you don't want it anymore, and you can add a Plasti Dip glossifier to it if you want it glossy. But IMHO matte looks better
