Brake Dust

you can get different brake pads but for daily driving these pads are actually pretty good. Alot of dust but they are quiet and have a good bite as soon as you start the car. Aftermarket ones will give you alot less dust but may be loud. Since you like is TX, you don't have to worry about them not being up to temp in the winter months.

I'm getting a set of HPS pads in a couple weeks I'll let you know how they work out.

Car wash ...weekly.. you can get other pads with less dust but then you have less stopping power... your call

regular car wash. also, try a nice heavy coat of wax every couple of months. makes cleaning quicker, too.

Well, I detail and pit XPEL Clear Bras on vehicles. My biggest problem is I have BLUE Plasti-Dip on all 4 rims. That is a P.I.T.A.!!!!!! I'm goint to have someone paint all 4, stock, rims in the near future.

yeah, the plastidip is the problem

See why I need better brake pads? lol

A lot of people have used our brake packages (stage 2) and have noticed that they have a significant decrease in brake dust over stock pads. They will dust less than the Hawk HPS brake pads and perform very similar.

I'm just looking for pads. Not the complete kits. Please let me know which EBC Brake Pads I should buy?

So I finally got, and installed, some HPS pads on the front of the car. Dust is definitely reduced from stock. The initial bite is also much lower than the stock pads, it gets better once the HPS pads are warmed up a little but it is still slightly lower than stock.

The total braking force seems to be about the same or better than stock.

I replaced mine with some Akebono's. Didn't notice a difference in initial bite, and I just ran the Dragon on these pads.

only way to stop the brake dust is to well stop driving the car. No matter what pad you have on it, you will still get brake dust. Now the amount of dust varies depending on pads obviously.
