the exhaust is made for the USDM rear bumper which is longer than the JDM/UK rear bumper that you have. just take it to an exhaust shop and have them shorten it or you can buy a US bumper haha

Yes thought it might be different but I was told by corksport that it would fit with no mods. Is the P5 bumper really 10cms longer or around 5inchs. Seems a bit of a difference. Cutting it down defeats the whole point of paying the money for the exhaust.

that looks way too long, i hope they didn't send you the sedan version...

That's what I'm thinking they've done. Have asked them for measurements on the diff back. If its wrong I'm not gonna be happy I emailed them before purchasing the exhaust to make sure it would fit and had to pay 150 more than the website said for shipping. Being from Australia I wanted to cover all basis before buying.

like it was mentioned our bumpers are that much longer then yours and you will need to trim the exhaust. The sedan one would have been much longer..

You have the one for the p5, but as stated above our bumpers are longer. If you had the US bumper it would sit flush. Corksport probably assumed you had the US p5 bumper and gave you that. If you didn't want to pay a shop more money to shorten it, just cut it with a sawsall and weld it up yourself to where you would need it

Sounds like it will have to be cut down. I thought corksport being Mazda specialists and emailing them to make sure it would fit I thought I wouldn't have any problems.

Maybe they didn't put 2 & 2 together. Shipping to Australia, it would be jdm. See if they will pay for it to be fixed or at least help out. That's the least they could do

I have booked the car in to have the rear cut down and fitted. I have also contacted Tyler from corksport to see what they can do in the way of the extra expenses. He was unaware of the difference in the bumpers which i found odd due to the being Mazda specialists. Now i just wait and see!

I had it fitted today love the sound. Nothing like the sound of a N/A owned plenty of turbos and after while they all sound very similar.

Know the sound of a rotor all to well owned one until some low life scum broke into my house stole it a tourched it

That person should be castrated and have his feet and hands set on fire with itching powder put all over them.
