I like the two tone accenting on those wheels, the chrome really makes it pop. For this particular style I personally wouldn’t paint those.

I have 20"x9.25", ET +36 and lowered on CS springs(3-1/4" drop) and I don't have any issues.

Great, thanks so much. Have found a set of HRE P40S (pretty sure they are reps) in machine face/gloss black.
Should look great on our white CX-5. Will try post pics once fitted.

Nothing wrong with a good set of replicas, but if you live in an area with bumpy roads potholes etc. Be very careful going over bumps. Drive slowly. If you have a 40/45+ sidewall then you’ll be fine, but anything below 40 on a replica wheel is dangerous. Friend works at a tire shop and gets countless customers coming in with cracked reps. (Mainly because the roads where I live are horrific)

Me personally, I recommend going with some nice JDM wheels or something like motegi, enkei, gram lights etc and I would stick with 18”s. You’d be surprised how different and “personalized” your car would look like with some gloss black rims, blacked out chrome trim, debadged rear and some fatter exhaust tips coming out the rear.

Well the price of these reps are too good to go past. Second hand but $100/corner.
Some roads around where we live can be bad but I'm always on the lookout for service trenches and potholes.
I even notify the council of road damage and it's often repaired pretty quick.

Not sure I could go 18s. Maybe 19s would be the smallest.

I have bought them for $158/each and I have picked them up locally, in Chatsworth from nlmotoring.com. They are 20" x 9.25 x ET36, XXR553.

As much as I see people ripping on XXRS, I may get a set of 527's to replace my wheels and resell mine

265/35r22’s. Think they’ll work on 2017 with offset that spaces it correctly or are they too wide?

I had my GT 2017 wheels chromed looks great but now has a small chip in the chrome wheel but it has a 5 year warranty from Detroit wheels so I will find out how it works. Not much snow or salt in south fl. so I'll see what type of company I'm dealing with to cover the problem. I have another set on my work van for the past 13 yrs and no problem.

Chris, one note on these wheels, they have a "step lip", that other wheels do not have and to tell you the truth, I'm afraid to go into a car wash. I'm afraid, that they may scrape them, when it is going through that automated washer.
I'm lucky, because there is a guy at work, who washes our cars, for even cheaper than a car wash.
