Hey guys, I've had my cx5 now for about week now and was looking to install and HID kit and replace the fog lights and DRLs. My one concern is that if I replace these items it will void my warranty. Anyone know if this is something that would void the warranty?

If they can trace the problem back to you installing HID's then it will void that item. If they can't prove the HID's caused the issue, they will have to cover it.

if you dont have the xenons already, the 'drls' are actually your high beams, so you may not want to replace them with anything led based as you essentially lose your high beams

thanks for the replies, now when installing the hids i'm assuming i would have to disconnect the battery, would anyone know if that would set off any sensors and what would it actually reset on my vehicle?

It will reset your clock and radio settings.
