Help!! I have had my CX-9 in to my local dealership, the first time for brake pads. Since I have had brake squeal on nearly every occasion it is in reverse and also a rubbing noise coming from the left rear. I have had it back in to the dealer twice. They have adjusted and sanded and lubed them up....their words.... 2 different mechanics now.... The rubbing noise has gotten better, but still can hear it on occasion. It stops with a gentle tap of the brake, until you let off again. The squeal while in reverse remains....
I am at the end of my rope! Anyone have any ideas?

Did your dealer check the TSBs?
There are several TSBs on brakes for 2008 (same as mine).
I had mine (rear ones) fixed. However, it came back after some usages.
I am used to it now. It usually happens when the brake is cold (such as 1st trip of the today).

I am having the issue 9 out of 10 times I back up. Not sure if they have checked the TSB's.
Usually after they "lube it up" it doesnt do it for a few hours... ?

I recall that to fix the groaning issue of my rear brakes, they needed to order parts.
Not just lubing.
Ask your dealer to check TSBs of 2008 models. They were too lazy if they didn't.
