Impatience? Really?

I usually end a post with "............." if there is info or response being waited on to come back to later. Did a "ttt..........." waiting to hear back about some rr cupholders on an Australian sight so it would be easier to find bumped thread and someone thought that I was being rude & impatient just because of the dots. It wasn't like that, was in no hurry, was just to find thread easier to check for response. So question is, if you see ........... , does that imply the person posting it is impatient or just waiting for more info or nothing in general?
