is it standard on the 2008 GT? or with the navi?

Only optional on the GT in 2008. See my signature for a picture of what the button looks like..this will help you with your car search. When I searched for my car used, my internet salesman had no idea if it had bsm. I was able to confirm it just by pictures. Again, see my signature.

interesting...i spoke to one mazda dealer he said anything built after sept 08 would have it as standard...who knows?

2008 GT built after Oct/2007 - BSM is a required "option" (when dealer ordered their vehicles.)
2008 GT built after Aug/2008 - BSM is standard
2008 GT built before Oct/2007 might or might not have BSM. So is any 2007 model.

Ah, that explains why Edmunds says BSM is standard on the 08 GT.
