Steering wheel and rearview mirror interchange?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has any info on swapping a steering wheel with radio controls and digital rearview mirror from another mazda car? I've seen one digital mirror swap, I think from a MZ3 or MZ6, but the compass/temp is green and doesn't match the OEM red controls. I'm also wondering if an RX8 steering wheel could be swapped in. It looks similar to the stock P5 one, but was available with radio controls on it.

Even if it had radio controls it would be a huge pain to make it actually work with the stock or aftermarket stereo. You would have to rub wires splice them in figure out what goes where etc. not worth it IMO

Actually the wiring isn't too bad - I can use an aftermarket radio that supports steering wheel controls, then it's just a matter of wiring it to the steering wheel. I can probe with a multi-meter to figure out which wire does what from the OEM wheel controls.

mirror is easy to swap as well into the car and add the sensor/wiring.
