Under the vehicle

I was amazed how much under body aerodynamic fairings has on the CX5. I thought only luxury brands do such an extensive under body job. I wonder what the 2012 CR-V looks like down there.

Good observation and great picture to show it. Porsche has been doing this for years, now it's done on affordable cars for fuel efficiency gains.

Add one of my Liquid Silver - I haven't done a complete wash and wax yet since the dealership has to take out some scratches on the front fender. The most I've done was doing some decision making on the hood. It has one coat Klasse AOI, one Klasse Sealant Glaze, and two Meguiar's #26. I think I'm going to switch over to Blackfire and try that out as a last step.....

I dont get many opportunities to wash my car so when I visit my folks out east on Long Island I take the opportunity to take some nice photos. Photography is a bit of a passion of mine, so its always nice to have a new subject. Didnt do much editing to the photos, just some quicky shots taken and uploaded in spare time.

CX-5 Sport, 6-Speed Manual on a Trailer

I'll be picking up my Sport 6-speed manual today or tomorrow. The dealer was kind enough to send me a picture before they took it off the trailer.

oh well... just found out today that my Silver GS is stuck in a freigth train at the Montreal Canadian Pacific depot. But CP workers are on strike here in Canada... So my CX-5 is under lock and key until the strike is over............. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.............. sorry didn't mean to whine..... but I want my new toy!!!

same thing here in Toronto! I should get my blue GT yesterday but the dealer told me my car is still on the train... get a 2012 mazda 3 sky as a loaner instead. don't know when I can pick it up.

Wow, when I picked up my CX-5 it was still covered in all the white wrap protective plastic sheets. The dealership pealed it all off in front of us and took the plastic off of the seats as well. They then brought it into the garage for prep before we test drove it. When we signed the paperwork and waited for RMV process they detailed the car, wheels and tires and had us do a final walk around and check of everything before releasing it.

Enjoy it looks great!
