mine completely broke last night where i could not move the shifter out of drive into park and it would not move to the side in my sport automatic trans. I took it apart from the top to reveal several plastic white linkages broken. this reminds me of when i had a vcr constantly eat tapes because the plastic gears were stripped. well it seems like they use the same plastic crap parts in the sport at. to get it to shift into park I sawn off with my pocket leatherman tool saw the plastic shift guide thing that makes the shifter follow a pattern to shift it from N to park. I need to completely disable this crap because it prevents me from removing the key from ignition. any ideas?
