Hi everyone -
After spending days visiting my local Best Buy, the Mazda Service/Repair Centre in Burnaby, and a local MAC Store, I have discovered that all Miatas with factory installed IPHONE adapters (using a 3G phone -S or otherwise) will suddenly not be able to listen to music when plugging in their phone to the stereo IF they upgrade to the latest IPHONE firmware {spelling?} from Apple.
Click in any 4G phone, however, and it works fine - but 3G phones don't work - so DON"T UPGRADE your software on those iphones until apple fixes the problem - don't make my simple mistake!
Does anyone know if Mazda cares to solve this problem? Why did I pay for a built-in adaptor kit that I can't use? Well at least I can still charge the phone! (jerkit)
