First off, this M2 section on this forum is great. Yall regulars comminicate your findings and rusults nicely!

I'm looking at tackling the easiest frame/suspension stuff first, and the torsion bar in terms of reults and effort is a no brainer to take care of right away. I haven't seen any chatter about the brace bar though. Has anyone else added that on?

My little (possibly unfounded) worry with this STB: it has these elongated holes for the bolts, most likely to accommodate for the slight differences in distance between strut towers. But the consequence of that is the brace connection to the strut towers will be less solid in lateral direction, leaving more possibility for it to get loose. But maybe I'm blowing smoke.

Also, wonder if there's any substantial benefit in the particular case of M2...

i have the tower brace and it helps alot on tight/fast cornering. or quick lane changes as ive learned. less roll.

and for 100 bux its a cheap awesome mod.

I forgot: is STB going to knock the car out of stock class in AutoX? (Long time since I did that, but thinking of trying M2 at it).

Yeah I saw that those holes looked a little big too. My STB for my 7 was just a hole the size of the bolt...so what you are saying does make sense, even if it's not founded...
