Lamin-X Headlight Film Instead of New Headlights?

I would just like a couple of opinions on this...I have a gray '04 Mazda 3 hatch and the headlights have some haze on them and I've tried a couple of "haze-removing" kits but they didn't help at all. I would like to get a new set of headlights but they are quite spendy. However I also like the look of the blue Lamin-X headlight film. So my question is do you think if I applied this headlight film, would it look okay with the haze that I have or even possibly hide the haze?

Thanks

i have film overlays on my fogs and i didnt really have a haze problem but my fogs were fairly pitted nad it didnt really hide those at all you can still see all the little chips. so im not sure if it would really hide haze or not. if you want hids without spending a ton of money try the xentecs of ebay, im happy with mine! hope this helps.

If it were me I'd try and get rid of the haze first. Which "haze removing kits" did you try and use so far? An orbital polisher and some plastic polish should do the trick for you.
